Explore the exclusive collections in the 3 museums of the town to know more about the 'ninth art’, the paper industry, the paleontological treasures or the arts from Africa and Oceania.

Afternoon | Jarnac

Train to Jarnac (30 minutes train ride). Check-in at the Ligaro Hotel to let your luggage and then enjoy the visit by entering the emblematic cellar, chai Renard, a unique experience deep inside Maison Courvoisier history and craftmanship (only 5 min on foot from the hotel).

Day 2
Morning | Cognac

Train from Jarnac to Cognac (10 min). Step by the François 1er birthplace castle for a visit at Baron Otard Cognac house, located inside the chateau. The castle opens its doors to reveal its history and some of the secrets behind the production of its cognacs. At the end of the tour, you will be introduced to the art of tasting in an unusual way: in the dark, blindfolded. Then wander the cobbled streets with your guide to discover the old town.
