CAMUS has been an independent family company since 1863 and offers the visitor an unforgettable experience: the opportunity to create your own XO Cognac in the Master Blender workshop.
Here Maison CAMUS will open their doors in Cognac, and share their uncompromising philosophy, one which has kept the family going strong for five generations.
Building on these strong foundations, Maison Camus stays at the cutting edge of science to achieve greater and greater feats of aromatic intensity.
Through this unique Master Blender experience, the visitor can immerse themselves in the passion and dedication distilled on the estate while spending some quality time with the team.
On the agenda
- Visitors will tour the Maison Camus estate and discover Cognac’s vineyards, in particular the Cru des Borderies;
- Immerse yourself in Camus’ distilling techniques and see for yourself how the estate achieves its signature aromatic intensity;
- Step inside the cellars and learn about the complex art of Cognac ageing, a process which blends ancient arts and modern techniques to bring Camus Cognac to the point of perfection;
- Alongside a Camus ambassador, you will craft your own XO Cognac. Taste four XO Cognacs (Fins Bois, Borderies, Petite Champagne and Grande Champagne) before combining them to craft your own unique blend, a reflection of your tastes and emotions.
