Camus La Grande Marque
“Five generations have each taken over from its predecessors to establish the reputation of CAMUS, decades after decades, with one shared conviction: to pass on its passion, heritage, tradition, know-how and excellence.” Cyril Camus
Founded in 1863 by Jean-Baptiste Camus, the House has always been careful to maintain its freedom, preserving the family character of the company and thus its independence.
Five generations have succeeded one another to establish Camus’ reputation, with a common conviction: to pass on, decade after decade, passion, heritage, tradition, know-how and excellence. Each generation has made its own contribution, always with the desire to innovate and to make their name stand out as one of the most prestigious names in Cognac on an international scale.
Camus is at the head of the largest estate in the Borderies, with 188 hectares of vineyards in this small, historic and highly sought-after cru.
